Rudder problems for Giancarlo Pedote

At the end of last week, while he was sailing in fairly lively sea and wind conditions in the heart of a depression, Giancarlo Pedote was faced with problems with his rudder system. The skipper of Prysmian was able to find a temporary solution to his problem while waiting to resolve it in a more permanent manner. Unfortunately for him, at the same time, his engine started acting up. After sixteen hours of hard work, the Italian sailor has managed to fix it.

In the depression, I noticed that a rudder that kept coming unhooked. I felt really bad because the boat was constantly broachning. it was bloody hard work especially since there was a lot of sea, with a fairly short wave period. In this type of situation, we know that it can go to ratshit in two seconds. So, I fashioned a lashing system to fix the rudder in its housing. I finished the operation burnt out and pretty much burnt out. When the wind died down, I went to sleep and the battery charge alarm finally woke me up, but at that point, I had another problem: the engine wouldn't start. I worked for sixteen hours without eating. I've just finished putting everything away. Honestly, it wasn't easy. Fortunately, I managed to charge it. Despite everything, I'm not too relaxed. I hope it goes well. Now, I've put the sails back up but I'm continuing to move forward at reduced speed because my rudder issue isn't sorted out. I need a decent sea to be able to tinker around at the back of the boat. As it's still quite dismantled, it would be easy to do stupid things. What I've done so far isn't ideal, but it's holding up.
