The Ocean initiatives, mission accomplished

As part of the partnership between UNESCO and the IMOCA Class, 25 skippers took scientific instruments on board at the start of the Vendée Globe. The last instrument, an Argos Marget II beacon, was deployed by Clarisse Crémer just after the equator, 3 days ago.

Warrior spirit to the fore

Sam Goodchild (Vulnerable) continues to resist the pressure from French rival Jérémie Beyou (Charal) as the duo lead a very tightly matched group of skippers through the light winds of a high pressure ridge with just over 1700 miles to the finish line in Les Sables d’Olonne.
