Solo around the world’ exhibition

The exhibition Solo around the world opens on 16 October at the Musée de la Marine, Paris-Trocadéro.

The Musée National de la Marine is celebrating the 10th edition of the Vendée Globe by offering an immersive insight into the history of monohull races around the world. Thanks to an exceptional collection of 300 items - sailing artefacts, models, outfits, works of art and archive images - this exhibition retraces the achievements of the pioneers and today's sailors, with their emotional stories that make the Vendée Globe an unrivalled human adventure. The exhibition opens its doors to the general public on 16 October. To mark the occasion, a contest will be organised on the Vendée Globe Facebook page, with 50 tickets to be won.
