Wind vane problem on board D'Ieteren Group

In a voice message sent to the organization at midday, Denis Van Weynbergh reported that he has problems with his wind vanes. This means that the Belgian skipper currently has no information about the strength and direction of the wind. He is sailing at reduced speed and is looking for solutions to repair it so he does not have to replace his wind vane with the spare one, which would mean climbing the mast...

This moonday, Denis Van Weynbergh sent news to the organisation : he managed to climb up to change his wind vane. “It wasn’t easy and above all, it still doesn’t work, it might be a wiring problem”.
