The tightening up at the front of the race, visible in recent days, may also be due to the technical problems revealed by Charlie Dalin (MACIF Santé Prévoyance) in a video. Dalin explains that he had an unspecified sail problem which took him 36 hours to repair in tough conditions but assure us that MACIF Santé Prévoyance is ‘back at 100%’. And after he shows us him using his jetboil to warm up the inside of his boat which is at 6 degrees, he shows us amazing footage of him sailing side by side with Yoann Richomme.
J’ai eu un souci de voile. C’était un peu compliqué de travailler dans la soute à voile avec le bateau qui avançait à 30 nœuds. J’ai mis 36 heures pour réparer mais ça y est, je suis heureux d’annoncer que MACIF Santé Prévoyance est à 100% de son potentiel !
