Hook problem and sail lost on Alan Roura's Hublot

Alan Roura (Hublot) reported a hook damage and the loss of his "Jib Top" - a small downwind sail tacked to the bowsprit - at midday this Sunday.

As I write this message my race is taking a completely different turn... The hook for my rigging (the most important) has just broken, leaving the "Jib Top", the heavy weather sail (super practical and versatile) caught on the foil and wrapped around it ... All this in 30 knots of wind and 5 meters of sea! The good news - if I can find any - is that I have recovered the halyard, the furler and my sheets. But the sail will unfortunately end its days at Point Nemo... I could decide not to talk about it, leave the sail in the ocean... But it annoys me just as much as it does you. I tried to get her back on board but it was impossible to manoeuvre the boat with 130 square metres hanging on the side. It was the sail or lose my foil.
