Engine repaired for the IMOCA MACSF

In 18th position, still battling with Jean Le Cam, Giancarlo Pedote and Alan Roura, Franco German Isabelle Joschke has had to deal with an engine failure which had been hampering the smooth operation of her IMOCA MACSF for two days. After more than ten hours working in the engine box, the sailor had to open it up and completely dismantle it to free a damaged part. The IMOCA MACSF is now operational for the rest of this Vendée Globe!
