IMOCA monohull
OMIA - WATER FAMILY
This Farr plan is without any doubt one of the IMOCAs which has sailed the most miles. In Sébastien Josse’s hands, then in Roland Jourdain’s, it won the Route du Rhum and has always stood out as one of the most accomplished monohulls of its generation. After a full makeover, it was steered by Japanese Kojiro Shiraishi during the last Vendée Globe but had to retire after dismasting in the Indian Ocean. This monohull still has a rightful place in the fleet of boats with conventional appendices.
