As soon as the conditions allow, Clarisse will return to Les Sables d'Olonne to enjoy the famous passage back up the channel aboard her IMOCA to share this moment of celebration with the public. Information will be communicated soon.
Clarisse Crémer expected on the finish line between midnight and 0300 hrs (UTC), but no passage into the channel possible
Like Benjamin Dutreux just before her, Clarisse Crémer the skipper of L'Occitane en Provence will not be able to enter the channel in Les Sables d'Olonne and take her place at the pontoons in Port Olona following her crossing of the line due to the weather conditions. The safety of Crémer and her boat is the priority of the L'Occitane Sailing Team and the organisation of the race and so it has been decided she will head for the port of La Rochelle, where the better sea conditions will allow them to take shelter. Because of the tide she will be able to access the port tomorrow, Monday, January 27 from 1400hrs UTC.
