After unveiling her new partner McDonald's early in August, Violette Dorange has begun training on her IMOCA DeVenir, Jean Le Cam's former boat on which he finished 4th in the 2020 Vendée Globe.  

As an extension of her three years in the Figaro, the 22-year-old sailor is continuing the association with the Apprentis d'Auteuil Foundation, a cause close to her heart.  

She will be competing in the Transat Jacques Vabre as a duo with Damien Guillou, who will also be her boat captain until the Vendée Globe 2024. Working for Jean Le Cam during the 2016 Vendée Globe, Damien knows the boat like the back of his hand.
