Storm finish line in use until after Clarisse

Since yesterday, the conditions have been stormy near Les Sables d’Olonne. Between 22 and 25 knots of wind, gusts of around 30 knots and waves of 2.5 to 3 meters are expected. As a result, the organizers have decided to set up the “storm line” in the morning for the arrival of Paul Meilhat.

This is a mandatory gate that turns into a finish line when the weather conditions require it. Longer and set four miles further offshore, it guarantees more safety when the weather is unfavorable. For safety reasons, no image production boat will be able to go on the water to cover the passage of the line. This line is now applied for Nicolas Lunven (Holcim-PRB), Thomas Ruyant (VULNERABLE), Justine Mettraux (TeamSnef-Teamwork), Sam Goodchild (VULNERABLE) Benjamin Dutreux (Guyot Environnement - Water Family) and Clarisse Crémer (L'Occitane en Provence).
