Broken forestay for Jean Le Cam

Last Tuesday evening, Jean Le Cam (Tout Commence en Finistère - Armor-lux) broke his J2 stay (cable that secures the mast). After 24 hours of repairs, the veteran skipper has now resumed his race with his boat almost fixed even if he has a significant tear on his FR0 (small fractional gennaker). He is currently sailing in less than ten knots of northerly wind and a calmer sea, in 22nd position, in the South Atlantic, 4,542 miles from the finish line.
