IMOCA monohull
MERCI
Since its launch date in 1998, Sébastien Destremau’s boat had participated in five races around the world, including two Vendée Globes in the hands of British Josh Hall (9th in 2000-2001) than Steve White (8th 2008-2009). The 2016 edition was therefore the third successful one. Very well built, this Finot plan proves to be much easier to sail than the other current IMOCAs. TechnoFirst – FaceOcean corresponds perfectly to Sébastien Destremau’s project : to finish the race, without being overwhelmed by technical issues.
