IMOCA monohull
GROUPE APICIL
Powerful and versatile, Damien Seguin’s Finot-Conq plan has had great media coverage as it was the star in the movie « En Solitaire » about the Vendée Globe. But, Damien Seguin was attracted more by its simplicity and reliability than by its photogenic qualities when he considered taking the start of the Vendée Globe. Since then, the monohull has had a makeover under the guidance of Jean Le Cam who has seeked to do the most difficult thing when improving the performance of a sailboat : simplify it. Together, the two men have also reflected on the ergonomy aboard in order to enable Damien to fully take advantage of the boat’s qualities. A clear success in regard to the first results.
