Technical problem for New Zealander Conrad Colman

This Saturday morning after long hours of repairs Colman still has some systems which are not functioning at all. 
Conrad was sailing at nearly 20 knots under spinnaker towards the Cape of Good Hope yesterday when he was the victim of a total blackout aboard the boat at 1530hs UTC. Several electrical elements and components were destroyed by an overload on the boat. 
He was forced to stop and secure the boat to carry out repairs. After having resumed progress on course during the night, Colman is moving now forward in a compromised, steady mode as he still has not recovered his main autopilot and Starlink for sending large video files.
Colman has set off again in a determined mood, full of his usual positivity as evidenced by his first message this morning "it's a new day ..." in front of a magnificent sunrise.
He remains in permanent contact with his team and the race management to report on the progress of the repairs on board MS Amlin.
